 6-8 Servings California Tamale Pie 1 lb. ground beef, browned, drained ¾ C corn meal 1½ C milk (or ½ C milk) 1 egg, beaten 1 pkg. chili seasoning mix    (or 1 t. chili powder) 1 t. seasoned salt lb. can diced tomatoes, undrained 1 lb. can corn, drained 2¼ oz. can sliced olives, drained 1 C grated cheddar cheese Mix corn meal, milk, & egg. Add remaining ingred, except cheese.  Cook in crockpot 3-4 hours on high.  Sprinkle cheese over top. Cook another 5 min.
Chicken Spaghetti 1 whole chicken 1 chopped bell pepper 2 chopped onions ½ stalk celery, chopped 10 oz. can Rotel tomatoes   (tomatoes & green chilies) 12 - 16 oz. Angel Hair 1 lb. Velvetta Parmesan cheese Stew chicken.  In the broth, cook pepper, onions, & celery 5-10 min.  Add tomatoes & bring to boil.  Add pasta, & cook 2-5 min.  Add cheese & chicken pieces & stir.  Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Bratten's Boston Clam Chowder 2 6-oz cans minced clams 1 C onions, minced 2 C potatoes, diced finely 1 quart ½ & ½ cream ¾ C flour 1 C finely diced celery ¾ C butter 1½ t. salt few grains pepper ½ t. sugar Simmer vegetables in juice drained from clams + enough water to barely cover, til tender (abt. 20 min.). In meantime, melt butter; add flour & blend well & cook 1-2 min. Add cream; cook & stir until smooth & thick, using a wire whisk. Add undrained veg. & clams & heat through. Season with salt, pepper, sugar.
